Youth Enterprise 2015
Post 16 Business students attended a regional event at the Wulfrun Centre Wolverhampton on Saturday the 21st march, 3 groups from Moreton attended and traded with other schools in attempt to go through to the regional finals of the Young enterprise programme. 19 schools attended the event on Saturday and Moreton students proudly old their handmade frames, plaques and clocks to the public. It was a successful day and the judges reported positive feedback on our students.
The programme is delivered across an academic year, where the students make all the decisions about their company, from raising the initial share capital through to designing their product or service to selling directly to customers and ultimately winding up the company and paying their taxes.
The Young Enterprise programme has helped students embed practical business skills and work with business finance in a real scenario.
This renowned programme has been running since 1963 and in that time over a million 15-19 year olds have taken part.
