Survey seeking the views of Parents/Carers of Children and Young People with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)
I am writing to ask for your support in completing a survey to help us to understand the views of parents and carers of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND). This includes children who are receiving SEN support, as well as those with a statement of SEN or an Education, Health and Care Plan.
Wolverhampton City Council is currently in the process of developing a Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) for children and young people with SEND. This involves gathering information on services currently provided to children and young people with SEND. This information will help us to understand if there are any gaps in the services provided or any unmet needs, and how these can be met. Our aim is to ensure that services are in place to meet the needs of children and young people in Wolverhampton with SEND.
This survey will contribute to the JSNA and your input will provide valuable insight into the services provided for you and your child. We would like you to provide feedback on your experience of the SEND services received, both positive and negative.
