As we come to the end of another busy term, I would like to thank you for your continued support. It was lovely to see so many of you in school this week during our leavers Celebration Evening and of course at our annual Christmas Fayre. All funds raised this week will be donated to the neonatal unit at New Cross Hospital, a cause that is dear to many of our hearts.
We will be saying goodbye to a number of staff at the end of term as they move on to pastures new, we thank them for their dedicated service to the school and wish them well in their new posts.
We will be welcoming several new staff to the team in the New Year, including Riley our therapy and reading dog. Please see our Facebook and Twitter pages for more information and regular updates on his progress.
In addition, our new Community Hub will be fully open in January. We have a wide range of partners working with us to offer support to all of our families and the wider community. For information on how to get involved, please contact Miss Deacy at firstname.lastname@example.org.
May I take this opportunity to wish you and your families a very happy Christmas and a peaceful New Year. We look forward to continuing to build a stronger community together throughout 2018.
In these Winter months, please be sure to check the school website, Facebook and Twitter pages for any school closure updates: www.moreton-school.org
