Dear Parents & Carers,
We are delighted to invite you into school on Wednesday 10th January at 3:45pm for a presentation and registration for the school’s NEW Community Hub.
The Community Hub is based on the school site and will open in February. The purpose of the Hub is to support, help, develop and educate the parents and carers of our students. The hub will host a full timetable of courses, development sessions, drop-in’s and various other activities for the academic year.
This is a wonderful opportunity to learn new skills, take up a qualification, get support and advice, and be part of the wonderful Moreton Community.
The Event on Wednesday will allow the various service providers to talk briefly to you about what they can offer you and then there is an opportunity for you to sign up to the courses and/or gain more information. Services include Wolverhampton City College, Princes Trust, Parent Champions, CAP Services and INpower, alongside others. There will also be a short demonstration for Show My Homework and an opportunity for you to have support in downloading and using the App. Finally we are looking for a group of parent/carers to form a Parent School Panel to help support the schools development and activities throughout the year, and there will be an opportunity to put your name forward if you are interested at this event.
